FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey! 948 Band performed today! RTC is posting pictures on their Facebook page. Don't they look sharp in their dress blues and gold accents! Only a week away until the realm thing!!!

Who would think a Mom could be so proud to see a picture of just half of her SR's head?!!!!! My son is in the pretty glasses on the far left. He plays French horn. Can't wait to hug his neck!
Hey! Nicholas'Mom...Soooo glad you got a glimpse of even half...My son is so small in the pic i could hardly tell at first... but it's him! Top-middle, in the group by flags. Third down...

They all look so much alike! It must be a "mom thing" to be able to pick out your son! LOL
Which group? Doesn't it stand to reason that all 948 kids would be in that same group? I literally sitting on my comuter trying to find me son!

Just love this photo; great to see our "kids" performing; our son is on the trumpet (somewhat in the center of the photo). Just can't wait to see him in person!

A very special thanks to all the SR's who signed the birthday card my son sent for his sister's Sweet Sixteen Birthday! That card was just bursting with energy! Mom's..... you have raised outstanding young men!
