Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 347-348.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

lisa - Good point. I was feeling a little sad yesterday when I went to the mail box. I forgot about the holiday on Monday. I will keep looking for a letter. We only have 15 more days! I have it on my calendar at work. I'm surprised that I get anything done at all!! :)
Sorry.. I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to post anything. My SR's letter said that he thought they would get to call on October 19. I would assume the letters will be a day later this week because of Columbus Day. I think it was diannep (sorry if I'm wrong) that suggested looking at: uniquememorymakers.com . The ribbons are a neat idea that will have your SR's name and division. It should be an easy way to identify families from your SR's division at Meet & Greets and PIR. They are nice mementos that are inexpensive!
Now I'm worried I might miss Trent's call if they do get to call on the 19th. We have our high school homecoming game that night and during the day I'm preparing for a crab feed the next day. I'm gonna be pulling my hair out and I may not hear my phone :( I'm going to have to set my phone to blast on that Friday. I've had it on loud ring all week as my son said on week 5 day 2 they would possibly get a call home. Well, that's pretty much gone now so I figured maybe they lost the privelge. Maybe a letter tomorrow will have more info in it I hope.
I keep my phone on ring and vibrate just in case I can't hear it, I can always feel it.
Have any of your kids mentioned anything about winning any flags? Mine hasn't mentioned a word to date.....
My daughter is in 348 and doesnt sound like they have gotten any flags.
I talked to another mom awhile ago. So charlottes mom our daughters do know each other and study together. She is also friends with another girl that i guess i talked to on here her last name starts with a m They think its great we all talk. 2 more weeks and they are done. I,will be so happy they get to talk to us again.
MargaritaQueen, you mentioned Charlotte's mom... is she on here? It's so awesome that our girls know each other. I am looking forward to meeting you at PIR along with some other moms. I'm afraid to use the private message but would like to add you on Facebook. :-)
My son said in his letter that he will be able to make his call next Tuesday.
In every letter I wrtie to him I ask questions about his bunkmates, flags, when is battlestations, etc. and I get no answers in each return letter. Ugh! I'm glad he's writing but I've got questions? I know he's friends with Kobie and the division leader is from Detroit. That's about all I got out of him in 5 letters. :( I guess I'll have to find out when I get to see him in 2 weeks.

I know what you mean about the lack of details. My SR's letters are upbeat and positive, but it seems like others are getting more "details"....Oh, well. I guess we will see them soon.
