Got a wonderful surprise yesterday, had been told he would have to stay on base yesterday due to pulling duty. Was prepared to eat KFC at Ricky Heaven for our "Celebration meal". When we saw him after Liberty Call he said they had reworked the Duty schedule and he did'nt have to pull watch till 3:30am and was able to go with us. We were overjoyed. Got to spend the day with him until he had to be back at 6:30 last night. His Dad picked him up this morning at 8am and he does'nt have to be back until 8pm tonight. He and his wife are spending the morning with his Dad and Stepmom because they have to leave today at 1pm. The rest of today and tomorrow his wife and I have him all to ourselves. Going to the mall later this afternoon and out to Dinner before we return him to Base for the night. The time is flying by way too fast, can somebody please slow the clocks down, hahaha!

Julie- so sorry it took so long for you to get to see D. I looked for you at PIR but couldn't find you. Glad to hear he will get back on track with his Division soon, had been praying it would all work out.

Preciousmom- Glad things worked out for you too see your Daughter, I've been praying hard for you and Julie both.

Spending the day with my sailor and  loving every min.  I know that there are some that werent able to bring their boys to the hotel with them.  That makes me sad :(

We sure did have to wait what seemed like forever to finally get him.. It was about 530, cold and windy.  It was awful, but worth the wait.

blessed:  If they passed all of their tests and passed BStations, they should be at PIR as sailors from what I know!

at the airport with my sailor. I love to witness the personal growth he has gained with his experience at boot camp. My baby is no longer that, he is a man. What a transformation! He is just beautiful in his uniform!!! The ceremony was really fun to watch and it took a lot for me to not run and grab him up! I loved watching those kids march together. Meeting all of the ladies was truly amazing. It's like we have been friends forever! I think that we will have friendships forever. I hope that the rest of everyons journey goes well and you all enjoyed your time here. We really had fun! :) blessings!!!

blessed... it sounds to me that if he passed Battlestations and has also retaken and passed the test then he will still PIR...  What is your PIR date???  Did they do battle stations with their original division the same one that will PIR on your date??  What did he tell you during your Sailor call.  If he were not PIRing at that call I think he would have told you...  It is still a gamble!   What does the moderator of your PIR site say?

So excited to see and hear from yall!!!!!  I even got to talk to Jans R yesterday... talk about cloud 9 all day!!!!!   whoop whoop!!!!

Congrats to all the sailors and families here!! julie n precious, you all r very strong ladies and bless u and your sailors!!! Did u still get your "im a sailor call" and then this???    Lydia..  I am scared because my sailor call announced he made battle stations and" Is a sailor".. but he and a other boy blew they're written test.. BUT were given a chance to retake and got the highest scores! so they passed! THEN they did B21.. so ARE they on track to graduate still? to do ceremony? how could the navy not let u girls know?  does anyone know???]
