Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by rickysmom0403(ship 12 div 034) on January 6, 2011 at 6:30pm: we have arrived safely in GL The drive over was long! We hit a snow storm in IN and was at a standstill for about 30 minutes! We are at the Springhill Suites a very nice hotel and the staff is super nice.

Can't wait to see everyone!!! So close now!

We just finished eating some chicago dogs at bigg norm's... Very good!!! I'm happy to be here and tired as heck but ready for the M & G! By thhe way, that cake probably weighed 20 lbs and smeled so good!!! Can't wait to meet you all! And to my baby... MaMa is in town honey!!! LOL

Comment by AmyB on January 6, 2011 at 2:37pm: so our bus broke down after we drove at 5am to cleveland and standing out in the cold with 50 r people. mega bus couldnt tell us when or if it would come. I said to my husband we cant get in late .We'll miss the mng. So paid 4 parking loaded the fam nd lugguage in and started driving ourselves cancelled the rental and are currently about 140 miles out..So much for trying to save money. idk if we can get our money back or not . But it wasworth it.Sorry 4 the errors posting from phone. Snowing a good bit now. Hope for safe travel for all. See you all soon
