I just got the "I'M A SAILOR" call, no she didn't say that, but  she did say the everyone passed.   She sounded very tired, said she can't march straight when she's this tired. She can't go to sleep untill 8 tonight.

I'm  so proud of her and of all the other new SAILORS.  .

Thx...everyone for the support....Vinnymom,thanks and maybe they will be beside each other. I'm just happy to just see my childs face. I'm still a proud mom cause everyone can't jjoin the Navy.....and everyone isn't brave enough to stick it out because I know they have to go through a lot. So as I stand here with my cellphone next to my heart.....I am the proudest momma in the world.

Called Public Affairs about "D" and feel better now. He did fail for his run for his PFA. Poor kid broke his leg doing PT with the recruiters during DEP and was just released Oct 6th before they left (almost didnt get to go because of it) evidently his leg has been causing him some issues. They advised me that he would be trying again today and that since he failed by such a small amount they were expecting him to pass today, complete battlestations and be back on track. Even still he wont be marching friday either way. I feel a little better knowing what happened but now feel bad for him because he was so frustrated by his leg to begin with. I was told I would get to see him friday for at least a couple of hours if he didnt pass but that they were very optimistic for him.

Bonnie: if I get a call today I will ask about 802 and post.

I'm off to the church to pick up the St. Christopher/navy medal I ordered Vinny...our priest drove 4+ hrs yesterday to get it for me.

To all those awaiting a call...deep breaths... they are much more tense than we are!
