It is going to be a long day waiting for the phone call!  My stomach has been in knots all night!  To everyone who did BS last night...... praying for the phone calls for all of us today!

Can't believe the countdown clock...never thought it would say 1 day!!!

AMEN, Vinnys Mom!

Thanks diannep

My sweetie is retired Air Force. Last night when I was at his house I told him about the phone call with Vinny~when I got to the part about telling Vinny my phone was in my bra he started laughing out of control...I didn't even get to the part about being on speaker phone...he KNEW!

I'll be sure to give his RDC a run for his money when we meet!

Got to keep a sense of humor despite the stress. I will go to Great Lakes to be present during the PIR & stand tall knowing my son will become a United States Sailor~

Precious Mom: I'm going to private message you about this. I have some questions.  Then I can post on here for anyone else in a similar situation.

VinnysMom: There is always a chance that he can call you before the ceremony...but I wouldn't count on it.  Just trust that he will BE THERE.  Can't wait to see your post after PIR about your very special reunion with your son, with all of this stress at the end.  Make sure when you meet his RDC's that you have your cell in the bra...they will be looking for that since you have now informed them when on speaker phone with your son that N4Ms carry them there!  Still makes me giggle picturing the RDCs faces as you were announcing this to your son on the phone...not knowing you were on speaker!  HA!

(Ship 12 Div 037)

PreciousMom:I'm sorry to read about your daughter. My son will be in the bleachers too.

Does anybody know if there is a way for me to find out if he passed before the ceremony? They finish BS at 8am on Friday. So stressed out!

Cell phone is currently on the charger~feels kinda strange not to feel it in my bra~I put it on the left side, close to my heart.

Safe Travel to those leaving today.

Public affairs....advised me on what she didn't pass and that she will get the opportunity to try again thurs nite. She will be at PIR in the bleachers standing at attention during the ceremony because there not allowed to sleep for sometime. I believe he said that she will get a 2 hour liberty for Friday.
