I agree Ms.Ampi We were the only parents at MEPS when 7 boys were getting sworn in and the only parents at the airport waiting with our son. I felt like hugging and kissing them all.

I hope there is a lesson here to be learned at the recruiting offices. At times, I was always made to feel I was a bother asking to many questions. At the time my daughter was 17 when she signed and you better believe I was there. Regardless, when she turned 18, I was there being a nosy body still asking questions. If there could be something to change, I would like for more parent involvement during this recruit process. At least in my area. Good luck Nurse:)

Man does my heart break for Nurse and upsets me because I never want anyone to have a low opinion of this Great Navy and how sad that a few sailors (recruiters) actions can cause that! =0(

Well, on this note IM HEADING home all... I will check in tonight and I PROMISE to get that clock back up there and running like a charm! Im suprised becki did not fire me as the keeper of the Info person hahahahahah

Sugar.. hang in there... When I got my form letter on the Thursday after the Wed the week prior... I was actually one of the first most everyone got theirs on Friday and several on the next week Mon Tues Wed... they were in a panic. Now let me say this though... there were a few whose kids sent it to a different family memeber such as in a divorce situation. Im not being nosey just making sure that there is no one else who your recruite might have sent it too?? Well, I would not worry like I said it can take up to 2 weeks as some of our parents found out!
