Thanks... I forgot to mention, I didn't get her sweat pants nor her personal under garments. I did get her favorite scarf she was wearing, I will be wearing it all the time for good luck!!!

Check shoes too in the box....they have to take their cell phone batteries out and many put them in their shoes.

MOMS - PLEASE CHECK THE CELL PHONES FOR THE BATTERIES. My sons had been taken out (dont know if they make them do that or not - but his phone was closed and the battery taken out) IT WAS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX IN THE CRACK.

rickysmom - hooooyaaaaa!! yall are on the road now.... hang in there on the receiving the letters ... but get yours out and going - they love to be the one with the most letters at mail call. However like diannep said they will not get any for several weeks... It just takes time to get all these kids into the system and the mail flowing. They are still pretty miserable in Pdays right now. I just talked to my son and asked him what he thought (since he has been here and done this) R would be doing long about now and he said Oh mom he is pretty miserable now... but will be better by next week!

I got my kid in the box today- letter received yesterday. Now next milestone for me will be getting his letter! I really didn't cry like I thought I would when I got his stuff- laughed about the jeans being rolled up and cell phone in his shoe. I was expecting a really horrible smell.

Thanks Becki and Lydia for setting this up. And to all the moms for helping me get thru this day by day.

becki: You'll do FINE! And with Lydia to back you on these things, it will work out. Lydia could help you with the technical part of adding piks, etc if you don't like doing those things. For instance, ME? I was head of two PIR groups (neither my own) and had quite a time getting the countdown clocks on them. I'm not so tech savvy... Thank goodness for Jessica and her tech abilities and she did it for me!

Hi, Lydia! Good to see you....hope your son is doing well in Pensacola!
