becki -- whewwwwwww Ive been hard at work here on the site!!! Trying to put stuff here that will help yall... Hey becki.... dont I remember yesterday that JessicaB suggested that this is the PIR date for those who got to GL last Wednesday?

Im glad you got your box - sounds like a lot of yall are getting them.... here was my calendar of experiences:

B arrived in GL 07-07 (Wed) got the box on the 13th (the next Tues) and the form letter on that Thursday. So Im thinking that yall should get the form letter in a couple of days...... after that I got his first letter exactly 16 days after he arrived there and another one on the 22nd day and then I got a phone call after about 3.5 almost 4 weeks.

Hello everyone and welcome.... I work all day but will be on in the evenings and all weekends... I got my kid box today... wow that was strange to know that it is the last load of his clothes... I am still in awww over this experience and so proud of him that is still did not make me cry... (i am starting to feel guilty that it did not get to me...) he must have put a spell on me with his smile before he left. :-)

Nurse - it all depends on her Phasing up... They go through certain tests in order to go from Phase One too Two too Three. There are more freedoms for her in Phase Two such as wearing civilian clothing - Phase three being able to leave base for the weekend etc. Oh honey when she leaves boot camp she can call you all day every day when she is not in class. Its a whole different world for them and will be for you .... just hang on these 8 weeks of roller coaster ... Ill find the Phase info and post it ....

I think I am supposed to be here since my twins left last week. I got the kids in a box last night for the boys. Made me sad and also smelled terrible! Two and a half days in the same clothes and then boxed up - YUCK! The FedEx guy knew what they were and put his hand on my shoulder and told us we did a good job with them and they are "Ours" now. I about started crying right there. Hope to get my letters soon.

Nurse - Are you better now honey?? I know that was disheartening.. It happened in my PIR group - a couple of girls just got overwhelmed but they snapped out of it and did great and are still doing great!

lol... thank you. I'm hoping I make the team. I'm still waiting for my PIR date. Keeping my fingers crossed:)
