Anyone in this group who lives in NC, SC, VA, or TN, I need your help. I am looking for someone to send a ribbon to so that one of your fellow moms can get her ribbon. I made a mistake on her order when she changed the number of ribbons she wanted and I should have sent her one more. She lives in CA and there isn't enough time to get it to her. She is staying at the Residents Inn in Wakeegan and it could be dropped off there or maybe she could pick it up at the desk of your hotel. She won't be able to make it to the meet and greet, her flight lands too late. If anyone thinks they can help please let me know. I will send you a couple of ribbons for free. Thanks so much, Lora

My Daughter said she had to take a test today, she failed it the first time, she fell asleep during the test, it was only about a 40 minute test, but she had been sick, on medication and was  exhausted.  So  I was praying all day for NO phone call.  Since I didn't get a phone call I'm assuming she pasted.  Battle Stations are on Tuesday night, now I'm praying for a phone call on Wednesday.

Kimber: I will pitch in for the cake also.

I would like to say that you all have made me cry and laugh these past few weeks, thank you for that.all the info and personal update. You all have something special about you, not just your kids, but something inside that lets you care about others. that's a good quality. I'm excited to meet all of you at the M&G, hugs all around. See you soon.

The only thing my son requested I bring to PIR is home made cookies! I also packed his favorite Cal Berkeley sweats, his favorite candy bar and a St. Christopher medal with the Navy emblem on the reverse. Don't know if he'll be able to wear it, I may have to bring it back home, but I will give it to him and let him decide.

Got the waterproof mascara, tissues, Excedrin, and ear plugs packed ( a friend told me the ceremony can get really loud). Lots still to do. Prayers for Battle stations.

Has anyone gotten the "I'm a Sailor" call yet?
