Good morning!! 3 days, that does make it a good morning! I have over 80 who have rsvp'd for the meet and greet. Good crowd! I have checked in to a  few bakeries in town to get a cake for the birthdays that the kids had while in boot camp and those throughout the year that we will not get celebrate with. If you are interested in this, please shoot me an email. the cost of the cake would be between 30 and 70 dollars, depending on the baker and quality of cake and we could split up the cost. I will order it today if i get enough response. Thanks everyone!

Have a great Monday! :)

Thanks Lydia, I did not know about he seperate bleachers. Does anyone know how many people are going to be in this graduating class? So how many days is everyone going to get their SR's?

I know channeling energy, I sometimes almost feel like we have that mother bond, If they are pumped I am pumped, when he is tired I am tired, when they had gas training I was pretty light headed...JUST Kidding.  Thank you, my little one is alot Like A, my SR, very very very active! Good for your daughter. Is she going to school in NY? My sister lives in NY-Tribeca

theresa...  there are lots of goings on and ppl walking about that first hour and half while everyone is arriving so I dont see why you and your two year old could not walk about a little in the auditorium.  Have one of your division friends hold your seat for you.  Dont leave your purse unattended.  Not sure about the stroller.. I saw wheel chairs and I could swear I did see strollers but can be sure about that.  The front of the bleachers on the floor is reserved for handicap wheel chairs...  Im sorry I just dont recall about strollers.  Perhaps Jessica or Diannep will recall on that.

To the new moms I see on here..... be sure to RSVP for the Meet and Greet if you have not already.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday getting back into the swing of things from the holidays and preparing for your journey to GL!!!

Dianne, I am worried about my 2 year old at the ceremony. is there a place in the background of the hall where he can run around just a little until ceremony starts and maybe I can leave my purse in the seat I choose.  Also what about a stroller, are they allowed?

salma are the cabs expensive?
Comment by diannep on January 3, 2011 at 9:17am

stevensmom:  Yes, the GL A School sailors should have weekend liberty.  If they are GradNGo (move over right after PIR), they may even have overnights.  But for sure they have daytime liberty with you.
