DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 950

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I found my son in the second picture. Thank you for sharing

No problem. idk what div the first one is

My boyfriend (cartersmom's son) is in div 952! I finally joined the site and am starting to figure it out. Only three weeks left of  boot camp but better late than never! I received letters today (two days later than usually). I was starting to worry but everything he said in the letters made all the worry go away! Our "one year" of dating was the day before he left, which was bitter-sweet. His parents give me hope since they met while his dad was in the Navy! I love hearing their stories and dreaming of his and my future while he is in service. I'm looking forward to being apart of this site because it shows that I am not alone and hopefully I can find some other navy girlfriends and share stories and help motivate each other! Don't hesitate to add me as a friend!!! (:

Welcome! Are you on the fb group too? And the admins of this group are going to say to change your name because of OPSEC guidelines so just a heads up. But it's so close I can't wait to see our men in their uniforms lol

Here is the pic of our boys! Hope this helps  :)

I am so excited for the 8th! wow not long to wait

Does anyone know if we can bring my son's cell phone and laptop and maybe some civilian clothes too.

I am worried he will go off to A school with nothing.. and we live so far away.

Yes you can! If you're SR is flying out to A school then you have to meet them at the airport and give it to your SR if they are staying in GL then you can give it to them to take back on base

thanks,  I am so worried about Battlestations, trying to survive my anxiety!

cpreslandbyme:  I'm with you!!!  I am so worried about them, but it certainly sounds like they got it together and will do fine.  Now, if only I could relax!!!

are you two on fb? i posted yesterday on the PIR group that I talked to my SR and he said they are doing really well.  he gave a possible BS21 date.  I am so excited!!

yes I am on facebook.
