Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 369 & 370.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

One of my favorite passages from Proverbs.  Thank you.

so, 4 of our SRs are the LPO(laundry petty officer) for their division(89)poor thing, he does do his own laundry but he sometimes mixed everything even whites! now he will be trained to separate the colors and white. So he is one of the mail guy too, but Will not be getting letters more than you all, as he said he is so exhausted and sundays will be the only time he can write. For one thing, he is going to church over the campus more often now than here at home so that is very pleasing to hear from a mom!! Praise GOD!!

still sleepless, getting behind on my workload as keep looking at the posts and can't contain myself to let you know what i experience while in church sunday. Romans 15: 1-13, My pastor keep emphasizing about how we are our brother's keeper ,to help them up, (tryng to concentrate making notes while another half of my brain thinking about our SR)..lift them up, one unity, one minded vs 1-6, then down the line vs 13-praising God>one body Teamwork (this is all my version), Hope and Trust in GOD thru the holy spirit>>last thing he said (ANCHOR) is in heaven..so how many will say anchor?(as in our SR-Navy), I was so elated..Our SR being anchored thru our prayers!! God Bless them, may they be sleeping like a babe tonight!!

Isn't it just so awesome how God gives us the right words to comfort and lift us right when we need them? He knows what we need.       My husband was a total wreck before our SR left for GL. The Sunday before he left one of the Elders in our church asked us to stay after service so he could personally pray for our family. He prayed that, not only would our son be protected on this new journey, but that we would be comforted knowing that we have done all that we could in raising a God loving and God fearing young man and his care is now in God's hands. My husband has been at total peace about our SR's decision to join the Navy ever since this prayer. God is good.

Got a letter today and my Son says his division gets to call tomorrow (Thursday) Looking forward to hearing his voice, hoping I don't miss the call.

My son is ship03 div 369 too, and I received my first letter today, and he said in the letter that he gets a call on Thursday 10/4.  He said he already bought a phone card. I can't wait!

Bummed I didn't get a call yesterday as I had thought, hopefully he will call today.

So sorry you didn't get a call.  My son said there were 30 from that division in SIQ because of wisdom teeth being pulled.  Maybe he was one of those.  Hopefully he will get to call soon.

My son has all four of his wisdom teeth, so he very well could have been one of them getting them pulled.  I am hoping to hear from him soon.

My SR is in 370 and I haven't received a call yet. I know other guys in 370 called yesterday. Would that mean that he won't call at all?

@Beamer835, looking at the posts, looks like our DIV 369-370 calls, will come today, per my son's letter thursday he might call..so i will be glued again on my phone and will definitely blocked other calls, if i can figure how to do that...Blessings

I really hope so. I don't even know if he knows the phone numbers off the top of his head. I just want to hear his voice, but I'm so afraid that he won't call =(
