Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 365 & 366.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Luke wrestled in high school too. He didn't mention any names but truthfully, I was surprised he wrote at all even though I gave him stamps. He's actually my son's best friend. He lost his dad 2 years ago. He moved in with us a year ago July though he's been part of our family since the two of them were in second grade. He seems to be happy there but then he is a happy go lucky kind of kid, always has a grin on his face. In fact we had to remind him not to smile all the time at GL or the RDC might make him do PT to wipe that grin off his face lol.

My Son also wrestled junior and senior year I guess our SR have a lot in common. Hope all is well with them.

I sent Luke a questionaire (like I said, I really didn't expect him to write) that asked names of bunk mates etc so maybe I'll get a name to go with the job of PO. What did your son sign a contract for? Luke is going for MM on subs.

That's funny so did I, sent it out today! If I'm correct IT and for four years but he said he wants to make the Navy his career, but we will see. If I'm correct you have my sons in the service right?

Boy, you describe Luke well. Can't wait til we go up and see him! Need to approve me as a friend so I can write you directly. Don't seem to remember to call you in the early evening.

Turtle is going for FC so he will stay in GL and then he is hoping for San Diego for C school. Turtle is abnormal wrestler, 6'1" and 138 pounds he uses very long arms and legs to pin his opponent. HaHa. The guys with the wrestler build don't like to wrestle him.

Wooohoooo..................Just got the 3rd week call home......so I hope every one has their phone close to them.......I thought it was going to be today so I had my phone attached to my hip at all times today............he sounds so good but has the sniffles and a cold just like Jodi-alumni said....he sounds great.......he said there were a few boys sent home did not say why or how many........but their unit keeps getting in trouble for not knowing the info they need to know and he said he is studying every chance he gets and helping other boys study too.........I am so happy and he said he gets to come home for 15 days after his 3 weeks in A school in the GL.....I am a happy momma!! :)

I got a call, I was so happy to hear from my son. He said he has made good friends. I talked to him for an hour. Told me also that everyone pretty much has a cold because it's cold out there lol. Also told me there was a few SR kick out because they just didn't act right. Told me one of his friends is from Georgia and the other one from Florida and the other there he doesn't know but will tell me in my letters. He thought it was cute that I'm on Navy for Moms and making friends. Also told me they get mail every day and he was disappointed that none of his friends have wrote him and he Misses me and his brothers. Gosh I love and Miss my son so much.

I meant to say he told me that the other three friends he has made he doesn't know where they are from. I happy to see everyone is getting calls

I got mine too! My SR had his wisdom teeth out and he is very homesick which made me sad but he has passed his swim test and all parts of his PT test so he is good. Just needs to get over his wisdom teeth. Makes me feel so much better to talk to him.

I haven't gotten a call. He may have called his brother instead but I did get a long letter. He had a wisdom tooth out so he was in bed the day he wrote it, They never date them but I'm guessing it was written last week and mailed Monday. He said that they had to write the chain of command and some other stuff 30 times because some guys didn't write it at all (or at least that's what it looks like it he wrote. His writing is really hard to read at times). He said they are starting to come together but that they had a long way to go. They are working hard on keeping neat and behaving properly. They want to win Bravo Zulu. I know my son mentioned that in his letters but I'm not sure what that means. Anyway, Luke is happy but missing us all - as well as music and candy. Glad you all got calls. I know it's great to finally hear their voices.
