Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 365 & 366.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks for letting us know. It's good that they are coming together but don't worry, by graduation time you will be amazed at how put together they all are. It is quite a sight to see. I was just there Aug 31 for my son's graduation and will be there for his best friend who is in this division. It brings tears to your eyes watching them march into the hall in formation. Just make sure you try to designate a meeting place with your SR for after liberty is called. It was hard to find my son and his division was at one end. I think it would be harder to find a SR when their division is towards the middle, after all, they all look similar in those uniforms lol.

Thank you so much for letting us know! I haven't got a letter this week yet. So it's so good to hear how they are doing!

Received our letter today.  SR said it is week 4 and it is HELL week and they have lots of inspections and tests.  They had their rack inspection and live fire on Monday which my SR said is fun stuff.  LOL  He said their division set a record on Marlin Spike which is basically how to dock a ship at a pier.  They had a big test yesterday he was worried about but they have all been studying a lot for it.  Sounds like life is getting better when he talks about "fun stuff"

HELLO LADIES, HAVEN'T BEEN ON HERE FOR AWHILE HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE DOING GREAT... WE HAVE THREE MORE WEEKS SO EXCITED!

Hi Ladies,

Well yesterday I received the Navy 4 Moms boot camp questionnaire from my son and he gave me the names of his best friends that he has made at BC I know we are not allowed to put their names on here for safety reasons. But I WOULD LOVE  to know who the moms are of these GREAT SR that are making it easy for my son and making him happy.... I love to know if you can send me a message I would love to know if you don't mind... My son talks to so highly of them it made me cry since he said they're his new brothers :) ! Also I was so happy to see he is still attending church in BC on the questionnaire as you ladies probably know one of the questions was "My Spiritual Life is: and he answered  A. Great God's showing me a lot and he added on there that he cried at church.... Gosh Our Lord is GREAT ! Hope all you ladies are getting positive letters....

I was hoping for a letter yesterday but sadly no letter.  I've only gotten ONE!!!  Can anyone give me an update on Ship 13 Div 366 how things are going?

Hi Mary, they are doing a lot better still struggling on the marching but they're coming along... You will probably get a letter today because my son did mention they're crazy busy :)

Mary, got a letter yesterday, my SR is in 366, said there are some who think this is high school, and are disrespectful and late to role call on a consistant basis, so they are still getting alot of it due to that, but they are starting to get it together.  My SR sounded good and positive, said he likes it and was proud that he has gotten positive pfa, academic and inspection results.

thanks for the updates.  I would like to think I'll get a letter today, but not holding my breath.  He has never been much of a writer.

Mary, did you send him a questionaire and a self addressed stamped envelope? Try that, both my son and Luke both thought they were funny and both sent them back. It's worth a try.

Well Jodi, I would love to know how '2nd son' filled it out!

Mary and Karen, our SR seems a bit overwhelmed with all the studying, yet engaged with some of the activities as he is a competitor and winning flags will make things more interesting, as well as the firearms training. Still, he felt like he was missing something at home. I'm sure it is all quite an adjustment! I just assured him, there wasn't much to miss!

Got a questionnaire from my SR today.  It sounded good. He said they were on week 4 day 3 and it was postmarked on the 22nd.  He still has his sense of humor and I really hope that the division flag is not designed as he told me.
