Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 367 & 368.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi jersey girl yay! How are you holding up since she has been gone
I just got home and got a letter!! I read it out loud the first time because our daughter wanted to hear what he said ( I had to clean it up a bit, lol) and by the end I was bawling! It is hard to hear that things are so hard for them, but I know it will only get better. He said that they started getting mail last week and be didn't get any and it made him a little sad. It makes me want to write him 3 times a day to make sure that doesn't happen again! All in all, he said it was in the up swing, so that is good news! And he also told me he looks sexy in his uniform, lol

That's soooooooo exciting! I can't wait to get home and check my mail box. I would die to get something. So sad he thought you weren't sending mail ;( That was my fear with mine because the damn form letter came so late! Happy for you girl! :) Now keep sending out those letters! I'm sure he'll understand once he sees you've been writing to him since the beginning! That's why i dated ALL my letters and kept complaining that I didn't have a form letter or address yet! YAY! :)

Awweee! This brought tears to my eyes! My SR isn't a letter writer, so I can only hope and pray he sends something! Till then I will live through all of you!

OK...I am still getting used to this site.  It seems like it take me forever to get to where I want to be at times.  Anywhoooo.  Please friend me on here too in you want.  I read some of you will be coming from PA.  We will be coming from MD we have about a 12.5 hour drive.  But it will be well worth it.  I am anxiously waiting for the letter or another call.  I am still holding to no news is good news.  Many prayers for the SR in bootcamp, and especially those who are deployed.  Talk to you all soon.

Hello to you all! So wonderful to read EVERONES comments, thought and well wishes! I and my husband are still anxiously waiting to hear form our SR too. So in the meantime this site has been such a blessing to share together. Can't wait to meet ou all as well!,

Hello all,

My Husband is at Great Lakes ship 14 Div 367. I got my first letter today and I'm so excited. It was short and more than a little depressing, but it's contact! Actually it sounded like a letter from a Wes Anderson movie. It began Hello Wife, and ended with Tomorrow we swim :) We've been together for over 11 year, though married for just a few months. This has been the longest we've gone without talking so just having a letter written by him has made me feel so much better! Is anyone here headed out to Biloxi Mississippi? Thats where we're going, even though we're trying to figure out the actual rules of housing. I'm really excited to meet everyone! Hope you're all hanging in there. This isn't easy but I just keep reminding myself it's so much worse for him!

Jane

My daughter is also in this div and headed to San Antonio for A School to be an HM. She seemed as if things where going rough in her letter.

I just received my 1172 for from my recruit for my military ID so if anyone else is waiting on that you should get it any day :) I'm getting more excited each day that passes that it's getting closer and closer to the PIR :)

Oh, FYI for those of you handling your SR's finances while they are away, my husband said that their first pay should be deposited on 10/15, so just a head's up!

I was wandering if anybody know if the navy has a program for people who don't have the extra money for a plain ticket of gas for the trip. if any body knows anything please reply

Still no letter or calls.... So sad : (
