WELCOME TO PIR 11/09/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

TOTALLY understandable, ProudNavyMom.  Absolutely....so so proud of her!

Barely eating?  Ok, I know that feeling...be sure you are eating CHOCOLATE though...if nothing else!  :-)  Good for the soul!  HA!

Please post when you get her call....I have a special heart for those who were struggling to pass their PFA or were asmoed for any other reason (my son was one of those)...because of their extra strength, effort and determination....can't wait for you to get that call!

diannep...i know i am anxiously waiting, I have been patiently waiting...every since I got the word that she FINALLY passed the prone float, and a friend of mine her son FINALLy passed ;o), now just waiting on my BS call!  I have been underground since then just b/c I could not handle all the chatter (not bad chatter) on here about everything lol (hope have not offended ANYONE).  I am sooooooooooo on edge.  I could not sleep, barely eat (notice barely b/c I did find a way to get that in LOL), if I was a drinker I probably would be doing so right now lol lol lol lol!

Thanks for the update, LuvmyBoys.  So maybe 369/370 went last night too?  That will mean that many more will have phone calls today if that is true.  HOOYAH!

Comment by diannep on November 6, 2012 at 9:55am

Ok, thinking that 823/952 may have gone through BattleStations last night?  Monday night is normally the night for the 900 divisions....and since neither the 900 or 800 divisions have brother divisions, they sometimes go through together.

Phones handy this afternoon for whomever may call!

Good Morning Ladies!

Wow..guess I was still half asleep when I posted that. Hope you all can read typonese lol.

It is my understanding that are two groups within each PIR group. One that is way busy, with very little down town, up untill the last week. So their last week is a little more laid back. The second group has  more down time till they get to the last week and they are way busy during the last week. Hope this helps a little:) Hang in there...we are almost there.

Comment by Jodi-alumni Ship 4 on November 6, 2012 at 9:00am

I think calls are still on a merit basis and from what I've read Div. 366 has been a little naughty so that is probably why no calls for us. The other possiblity is that they have run out of minutes on their calling cards. They might figure that they will be seeing you shortly and don't want to spend the money on a new one. But don't worry, in less than 3 days you will be able to talk to them all you want so hang in there.

Comment by Denise (USS Paul Hamilton) on November 6, 2012 at 8:42am

Wow some are receiving calls every day.........my son is in DIV 365 and I only received the I am here in GL call the 3 week call and the call after BS.....wonder why some are able to call every day and some are not?

Comment by karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366) on November 6, 2012 at 8:04am

Ok 366, yes our division have given all of us loved ones angst and its hard to hear everyone else having so much contact knowing this must be hard for our new Sailors,  But we have all been there for each other good or bad, its Tuesday, three days and we all get our first "Sailor Hugs"  We got this Navy Sisters!
