WELCOME TO PIR 11/09/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hi ladies, hope all had a good day.

I was lucky enough to get together with another Navy mom today. She was a new mom on the PIR groups about a year ago. She moved to Maryland from Texas about 2 weeks.  She has adult children in the Marines and Navy and she is such a sweetheart!  We are already looking forward to getting together again soon for shopping and lunch.  She will be living about 15 minutes from where I live. So, who knows, one day you might meet a Navy mom on here somewhere that you never expected.  I did remember talking with her on the PIR groups last year and now here we are in the same state, about 15 minutes from each other.  :)

Lala and Diannep you might remember her, it is  Anna V?  She has 2 Marines sons and a Navy son.  It's a small world.

Hello! Proud StepMom of Nick here.. he is on Ship 11 Div 364 and i'm so glad to have a group to share info and gain info from!  We've received the box and now the letter.. can't wait to hear from him about how he is doing.  He was been waiting 4 long years throughout JROTC for this to happen, we had to jump through hoops and call on a miracle to get him enlisted with a waiver.. and his dad and I could not be prouder.  Thanks!
