WELCOME TO PIR 11/09/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

anybody know how to watch the battlestation 21 video?  I saw it prior to my SR going to boot camp, now I can't remember where.

Congrats to the new sailors of 363/364!

Jodi:  My brother, sister and I were competitive swimmers too!  10 yrs for me, longer for them (being the oldest, the others didn't have a choice once I got into it at 7 yrs old...actually to help with the asthma I had as a child).  We were at the pool everyday....including weekends!    So....here's sending floating prayers to Lillian's daughter!

Ladies, I have only received one date (2 divisions) for this group.  I have the one for 365/366.  It will be interesting to see if just 2 divisions go each night, or if 4 go.  There are those 2 possibilities.  In this week's PIR group, they went two divisions a night for a while, 900 by itself, then 4 the their last night.  So you can see that there are lots of possibilities.  My only suggestion is for Div 365-368 to have phones handy for the rest of the week....just in case.

Amom:  You aren't asking too much at all!  HA!  But I don't have a date for them yet. Will have to see how many divisions go the rest of this week.

Lillian...just some encouragement!  Just received a letter from my SR.  She said that being asmoed was pretty much a threat, but by the time I received my letter she would have passed.  So the encouragement is and this is quote...they put me in a class, and they really push you.  They really wanted me to pass, just as much as I wanted to.  She told me to relax and they next call she will be making is her I'm a sailor call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  After I got past the tears, good ones,  thought of you, and how I needed to let you know.  Be blessed, and as I said before I am praying for her.  She will get it, and graduate with her division.  Whoever thought of this site...YOU R A GODSEND, and I am quite sure others would join me in saying so! Much Love, so now waiting on my call!

Congrats to all the new sailors. I too am getting teary eyed every time I read another post from a proud Navy mom. Hoping mine comes tomorrow. Does anyone know if they will get to call both parents or do they only get one phone call?
