WELCOME TO PIR 11/09/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Cindi, its a questionaire for those who hate to write haha. I sent it to both my son and his best friend (div 366) as a way to get some answers. They both thought they were fun to fill out and I did learn a few more details than I got in the letters. I think I may have even sent a self addressed stamped envelope though the letter didn't come back in it.

Cindi - Look at the area under the members picture (above) called "Pages".  Look at the thread called "Boot Camp Questionaire"...

I got a letter too. He agrees that the division is coming together. He filled out one of the questionaires I sent him plus he wrote a letter. I had sent a picture of the load of wood he got out of stacking with the dog sitting by it and he said he showed it to his bunk mates. I think he said they have 3 flags so far and are all working hard to learn everything. He sounds good and says he can't wait until graduation.

I still didn't get my letter this week - and my usual day is Thursday. I'm pretty sad...yet I'm happy that we only have 27 days left LOL. On the flip side, I stopped at my parents today and he sent them a letter! That made me smile BIG time :) I just love seeing his writing...I guess I can live off of that for now till I finally get mine. Oh PIR please hurry up...

Nigel's Mom, yes got a letter, they are doing better, got a flag for academics, getting yelled at less, he said it is almost fun, marching is coming together, sounded upbeat, happy, said he was excited for the training coming up and to graduate and start NUKE school.
