We are from Florida too. My son has not mentioned about where any of the guys are from. He just said he is friends with a lot of them. He has to check log books every morning so I am sure he is getting to know them. They all sound like a great group of guys. Says the food is good and he has gained 8 pounds. His girl friend can't wait to see his new body.... My mom is getting very forgetful it saddens me to see her getting like that. She is 85. I am blessed to still have her with us. She is writtig her grandson letters. She is proud he joined the Navy just like his grandfather did.

Sharon: My precious dad has dementia also....for about 8 yrs now....so hard to see him "lost" even though his physical body is doing great. He is losing "connection" with all of us more and more, but God bless my wonderful Mom who keeps him very active doing the things he has always done socially . It is a horrible disease, but like you said....we learn to treasure the moments with them when they recall people and things!

Diego's bunkmate is from CT. There is another guy he chats with and he is from TX. He is a sub guy too and his dad is retired Nuke which is cool because he will be Nuke as well. He did use names, but won't here. I am not sure how they do the divisions that no one else is from our states?? Strange.
