Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just a quick reminder moms, try to keep the names of our recruits to a minimum on the site....It's a public site and it's better safe than sorry. This is why I ended up even changing my profile name and took my son's name out of it.

Just wrote my son to find out who are the recruits that dont get mail or just need that little extra encouragement. I have cards standing by just waiting for their information.

I know what you mean! Its really such a wonderful thing these son/ daughters/ husbands wives are doing and we need to support all of them as much as possible. what ship and div is your son in??

I'm going to send off a letter to Devin today letting him know. So far, I have over 25 responses from people here at work that would love to support these kids...even after boot camp. Sometimes, people really surprise me...it makes your heart feel really good!

I sent my husband a letter and told him to let us know who doesnt get alot so we can sent them cards and stuff to encourage them.... Please makes sure you write your recruits to tell them what we are doing!

OMG ladies! I just posted the request for people to support our kids receive little to no mail...seriously...just about 6 minutes ago...the response...HUGE!
