Good evening ladies, I have just gotten back from GL, spent the weekend with my daughter and now will hopefully live through this ordeal again. If I can be of any help to any, been through a lot with my daughter during her BC, ask away. Otherwise my son is in ship 11 div 369.
We will all get through this, well you all will, I am looking for the normal BC this time. lol I am sure it is gonna be a ride and I know that along the way the bumps get bad but in the end our kids will be so much better.

@missheparin OUr son left for GL on the 21st and we thought we would graduate on the 19th too, but he is graduating on the 12th and we are so excited to have it one week earlier than we thought. Not sure why, except that they fill divisions first before making a new one. So, we got lucky!

My son left on 9/21, and I was thinking that his PIR would be 11/19 but it's earlier 11/12/10. Do some go through quicker? Or is that when most left? Just curious

I had 4 letters that I ran to the post office. I was lucky, as I got my letter then kid in a box came later (5:30). Didn't think it would hit me, but silly things do these days. No hidden note, but his special space pen in the pocket of his jeans being entrusted to me along with his 4 lb. dog who thought she was his parrot & rode around on his shoulders, crying and snuggling up in his clothes & the tears poured again. I am so proud of my brave son.

For some reason mail takes forever to get down here to SW Florida....Or maybe he sent the form letter to a different address....Not sure, but I'll have to ask him that question in the next letter.

And yes, since they are in the same Ship/Div they will graduate at the same time! At least I know that much.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten yours yet Diana, I received mine on Friday- gosh, I hope it comes soon. Of course they have to have the same graduate date, they're in the same division. Right? I hope it comes soon!!
