Diana, you are so welcome, besides isn't one of the definitions of a mom: needs to worry about everything because no one else will!! LOL!!

Thanks Tammy! I figured I was stressing over nothing. My husband swears if I don't have anything to worry about I'll make something up! Lol

Diana, we just received our form letter Saturday, and my son wrote that the date is 11/12/2010....as long as they pass everything. Our kids are in the same groups so you are planning the right date! I'm sure you will get your letter anytime now!

I do remember JessiaB telling me it's probably because his division hadn't filled up and they won't send that until it does. I figure I'll give it to Friday, since that is when I got Charlie's letter last week. If nothing by then, I'll see where I can go next for information.

We are pretty sure that we will be staying at the Ramada Inn for PIR. They do the welcome reception and they have free shuttel service to PIR. I am still looking into things, but fairly sure I will be booking it today from Thursday through Sunday. Even if Diego is a Grad & Go, we will stay until Sunday. We will be driving from Michigan.

Diana, that seems strange that you wouldn't have gotten the "offical form letter." Our son got there last Tuesday evening and we received the "box" on Friday and the "form letter" on Saturday. We live in Michigan, so it still took two days to get to us. I would look into that somehow.

Is it normal that I still haven't received the official "form letter" yet? It will be two weeks tomorrow that my son left.... I'm just starting to get a little nervous that I'm making plans for the wrong weekend.

When I went to bed last night I was sure I was going to rely on Taxis and stuff. Not today! Car it will be!!!

I lived in the mid-west for a few years and grew up in the mid-atlantic so I'm not looking forward to the cold, but my husband will be there to deal with the snow if there is any....PLEASE.....NO SNOW!!!!

Don't some of the hotels offer shuttle service to the airport and to the PIR?
Comment by Mom from St Pete on September 26, 2010 at 9:14pm
Please no snow, rain or cold weather would be O.K. I use to live in Ohio but that was years ago.... Now we are from Florida. The weather report is nice thanks Barbara. I have checked on line off and on all day for hotel and plane tickets. Not sure if I want to rent a car or not. I would rather not. And just use transit? Yes or no???
