I'll be coming from OK. Yes let's pray for warm and sunny. I don't mind the snow but here we always get ice before snow. I'll be driving so let's keep those prayers going that the sunshine God will be among us.

Thanks Barbara! I'm glad you like the weather forecast, it was a "shared" idea from another mom....

The weather forecast is great! Some people are amazing. I was wondering what kind of weather we can expect the second week in November in Great Lakes.

Just a word about the keel, we received ours in less than 6 weeks. The dvd arrived in about 4 weeks.

Welcome Kelly! Also, if you click on the View All button you'll see a Discussion Group already set up for your Ship/Div.... I'm not sure how many members are there yet but it's a good place to start

Just booked my hotel reservation....now I'm just hoping I get the good news like Sharon did that my son's PIR really is the 12th like I've been planning!

Nola gave me a great tip on hotel, the Residence Inn is running a special on weekend rates - $63 a night and they offer transportation to the RTC for $6.

Hi everyone. We received our son's info yesterday and found out that he will PIR on the 12th and NOT the 19th like we thought! We are doing a Michigan Happy Dance on this end. He is on Ship 11 div 369!!! Glad to meet ya'll!

Lynne - Thanks for pitching in and helping with this group! I greatly appreciate at.

And as point in fact - I received my first true letter from my son on Friday this week. It probably all has to do with how far away you live from RTC. We all just have to be as patient as possible and wait for the pony to stop at our mailbox with the good news!
