I've seen a couple different posts about hotels, I'll have to go back and see. And I've read the same thing about the Ramada. As soon as I get the form letter with a firm date (still won't believe it til I see it) then I plan to book my flights and hotel, so it's never to early! :-)

Has anyone checked on hotels yet? I have read from others moms the Ramada is not to good (smells). I was wondering about the Navy hotel? Anyone heard if it is OK or not? I know it is early just checking.

Devin's mom- I was smiling at your boxer short comment- I was the same way. I haven't even washed it yet- it sure needs it though. Travis is our one and only child too. Our house is suddenly so QUIET.

I'm terrible at texing Mom from St. Pete- my son used to roll his eyes because I always wrote like I was writing a letter. HA

I love that comment Ziggyi about the thumbs..... Too funny, I think my son is also because all he did was text. I am probable one of the few he talks to due to I am not great at texting.

No letter for us today, but hopeful for tomorrow. I keep thinking that my son's thumbs are probably twitching from lack of texting!

I have a 2 pager ready to go just waiting on the address. All this waiting is very hard to deal with. By the time I get the address I may have a 4 page letter ready to send off. I just hope he has time to read them. Also hope he takes the time to write me and his girl friend back. She is counting on him writting us back.

I too got the letter today! The note made me cry....trying to pull it together. Sending her first letter off tonight. I have been writing it since she left...lol.
