Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

GO division 369, 370, & 952!!! I can't wait for all of us to get our "I'm a Sailor" call tomorrow!!!! Candle will be lit and prayers said!!! PIR 11/12 is a little over 2 days away!!!

I was thinking we could just change the name of this group to Sailors who PIR'ed on 11/12/10 .... So we could all stay in touch!

Good luck to the last battlestations group!! Wow, the relief after that phone call is really awesome. Now just gotta go home and pack, and make it to the airport on time on Thursday (L.A. traffic on a workday is unbelievably brutal!)

Thanks to everyone for all the good information and personal stories. It has been really nice learning about the other families in our PIR. Maybe will see some of you on the Nuke Moms page?? My son is grad n go. He leaves Friday night for Charleston. Too bad so soon, but at least we get to spend Friday with him. And thank God all went well in boot camp : ) Best wishes to all.
