Tinkerbell- Thanks for the pictures they look great! My pictures did not turn out too good. I am thinking about buying the video. My husband and daughter did not get to see my son graduate. Plus it would be a great keep sake to show his kids someday.
Diana- I will ask Anthony about Charlie.
I did not spot my son till his GF pointed him out to me. Too funny I guess we were just looking to hard......

When we went to PIR....it didn't matter how hard I looked.....I never saw my son....and come to find out, he marched RIGHT IN FRONT of us. I looked the whole time to see him. But my husband did get a video of him and I saw him then. It was the most wonderful time I have ever had. A very emotional time too. I was so proud of him. Now, he is in FL and I talk to him all the time now. I didn't want to leave him when we had to come back home. But boy has he ever changed !!!

Does anyone know about posting pictures of sailors on FacebooK? My daughter seems to think that we have to wait a few months after PIR,

FYI - I noticed that the RTC Facebook page has pics of our PIR! Maybe this answers my question?

Timberbell -THANK YOU! I finally have an actual picture of my son at PIR! He is in 510.jpg. The last one on the left with the glasses. We NEVER saw him no matter how hard we looked! My heart skipped a beat when I saw this!

josteph - from what I've been reading our Sailors may have liberty on the weekend but not leave. Liberty being like how we were able to visit them in GL, pick them up at a certain time but having to be back each night.... At least that's what my son believes he has in P'cola. Fortunately the base will be doing a dinner for the Sailors who are still there, either in the galley or USO
