Welcome to the discussion group for division 901.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Glad you made it here BikereMom where did you book your room?? and what will your son go to school for after bootcamp?? and where will his school be?? We all miss our SR's its hard I don't think any of our boys have sent letters yet so we are all sitting tight for the moment.

We are staying at the Quality Inn in Waukegan. It looked ok in the brochure. Right now I would sleep in the car if I got to see my son.

He went in the PACT program so not sure where he will go to school.

Hi..just received word from ex that my son is Ship 02 Div 901.  Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Annette. My son Alex is with your son. What's your son's name and I can mention him in my letters.

Hi...my son is Steven.  Plan is for A school in San Antonio.

My son Shane is Ship 02 Div 901 and is going to A school in San Antonio also! Have you heard from your son yet? Well they might call him Samuel at bootcamp in stead of Shane..

Hi my son is Marcus! Welcome

Having a hard time today. really missing my son. sigh. I really could just sit and cry all day long.

I hope they get to write home tomorrow!! This is the longest I have gone without talking to him in some form or another.

I just wish that I knew he was ok, I mean I know he is, I mean no news is good news, but he sounded so down when he made his 30 sec call, that's all I can think of.

There are days when I wish he didn't go. My head knows this was the right thing for him, something he wanted and will do good, but my heart, yea well that's a different story.

So how is everybody else doing today?

I'm having a hard time too today. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy as much as I check the mailbox. But it hasn't stopped me from writing him. I think I send a letter, if not every day, for every other day. I also keep an eye on the 900 Div on Facebook. Its a good page with lots of pics.

I know what u mean about wanting to know he's ok. My husband keeps saying, "of course he's ok!"

I too have written every day to every other. makes me feel better.  Usually just stupid nothing ramble, but it's something, lol.

Oh yea I am a total stalker on the FB page, can't wait for 951 and 952 PIR's, we should be able to see them then!! I hope, my luck my SR will be holding a door somewhere out of the way, haha.

My husband keeps saying the same thing, he was in the Navy back int he 80's, so he's always like, he'll be fine, I did it, it's not that big of a deal. It is to ME!! lol.

I'm a mess as well!!! Can't stand the not being able to talk to him rule!!! UHg how did they do this back in the old days with no computers or anything?!?! At least we have each other on here!!!

I was wondering that myself!! lol. At least I can look up things, a general idea of what's going on, that helps a lot, this site here has helped beyond words! I know now that my crazy out of no where crying is totally normal!!
