flbradybunch.  Don't worry, they'll get it all done and PIR on 11/18!  No problem!

Some have longer processing days then others, as they fill the divisions.  But they all get done on time.

As I told my son, "Welcome to Government Bureaucracy."  LOL!! We had some experiences too.  Let's just say we started in a completely different branch which did NOT work out.  We decided that it was just meant to happen so we could have a dry run before we landed exactly where we were supposed to be.  Maybe you will find that the extra work has a beneficial purpose too :)

Wanda...i completely feel your frustration! We went through complete ridiculousness with my son's recruiter (I almost said "our recruiter). Cam had to take his social security card in 5 times for them to make a copy (I warned them, if his identity gets stolen I'm coming after THEM), then he had to take his transcript in 3 times--we had to pay for the extra 2 times and of course there's no getting THAT money back. The recruiter(s) were SO GLAD when my son finally left for boot...they don't have to deal with me anymore...I just might pop in once in a while to make sure they're still awake tho! :)

I meant to tell the other 12/003 families out there..... my SR said they were week 2 day 5 yesterday.  They had a long time from the time my son got there until the division was full and they went from P days to actual training.

Veterans...... what does that mean in terms of training?  The PIR date is 11/18 so it seems like they have a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time?

Well, I did receive a quick call from my daughter today because she needed paperwork faxed over to Great Lakes. For some reason, someone dropped the ball at the recruiters office regarding the Loan Repayment Program. I had to refax 21 pages to them :o(  Well, at least they're going to work on it. They said they have no record of her accepting the program. To think of the days and hours I spent faxing to the recruiter and calling the different banks to get paperwork sent to me. That irritates me. Well, hopefully it will all work out. Time to move forward; had to vent.  I'm feeling better now :o)
