Oh Wanda...what a great day indeed!  I tried so hard not to be emotional on the phone with Cameron but it was so difficult. Isn't it wonderful that we have children that can do "that" to us? I hear so many people talking about their kids in such negative and derogatory terms...I've never ever ever felt that way about Cam for even a billionth of a second. I'm so glad you got to talk to her...she sounds like terrific young woman (we can't call them kids anymore, can we?!) Life is so good!

WandaG - Where is the like button when you need it.

Suebal - I too had to force myself to hang up, Caitlin's cousin has been having with drawls too, so another call she had to make. More tears there as well, but all happy tears.

Congrats to everyone who got a call today! I also received a call!

I hung up a few moments ago myself with my daughter!!!! She called me when I was pulling in my driveway. It was so wonderful to hear from her. She was emotional and so happy to hear my voice, as I with her. PLUS I received her 3rd letter today as well. We got to talk for about an hour. I'm so glad I got to talk to her because the letter didn't sound so cheery. She sounds so much better. She was sick for a while because of the vaccine. She had to go to medical and get one day of rest plus 1 lite duty day. She said it did her the world of good. Now she feels that she can function and even on bed rest she continued to study. That's my girl :o) She was able to speak with her grandma as well, unfortunately my husband wasn't home from work to speak with her :o( She said the next time she calls she will be a SAILOR :o) She did say she passed the swimming test and her first academic test. This is a good day :o)

I JUST HAD THE BESTEST PHONE CALL OF MY LIFE!  Cameron called...we got to talk for 20 minutes...he sounds so much more mature...OMG I can't remember the last time I was this happy!!!!!  My heart doesn't hurt so much anymore. I had to force myself to hang up so he could call his Dad...I'm so happy.
