Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 011 & 012!

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

The only thing I have gotten was the form letter but I've been stalking my postman since the day my son left and my cellphone is always with me even if I step outside the front door.

Hi There,

My SR is in this group as well.

I'm not sure what my travel plans are just yet, but it makes sense to get to GL a day early. Were traveling from Cincinnati, Ohio which is about 5 hours away. Our plan is to drive up and yes I will do my best to attend the meet and greet. Looking forward to meeting all you wonderful moms.

Hi  My son is also Ship13Div12, I have received one letter so far from him!  I cant wait to hear his voice and see him

Me too I want to hear the voice to ensure things are ok, even if they aren't. That would pacify me until I see him in about 5 1/2 weeks.

I got a letter from my SR today. I was so happy just to see his writing. It was very emotional and hard to read it without crying.

Happy ! Happy ! Happy!!!!!

I received a letter from my SR today. I was overjoyed. He even sounds positive and sounds like he loves it. (Is that strange?) He misses his dogs and his GF and has already made the request to bring him his cell phone for graduation. Any other out there that receive a letter from this division?

My SR is in this division and I received a letter on Saturday. I was praying for a phone call today.

That's outstanding for all the mom's that got letters. Happy for you guys that means mines is on the way!! Woo Hoo!!

Tjmax-

My letter was actually postmarked October 4th. I am wondering if they allowed our SR's to write to their families early since the form letters had the incorrect PIR date on them. Whatever the reason, it was nice to get the note. I hope you receive one as well soon.

Enjoy your day.

Late response I know..I did get a letter last Thursday from my son. He seemed to be doing very well. Now I want another letter and a phone call. Lol! Yes it was nice to get a letter. There is life out there :)

My letter was also dated on the 4th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get another letter this week.
