Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 013 & 014!

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

victoria.s mom, Midway is in Chicago.  We are flying in from Houston.  I would book now because the prices are going up.  Good luck.

Good morning ladies. Was just wondering if any of you mom's that have SR's on ship 14 division 14 have received the "I'm alive" phone call. I was hoping we might hear from them this week.

My son is Ship 14 Div 13, no, I haven't received a call either.  I hope it will be soon.

Not phone call home yet, only the generic letter home with the graduation date Nov 23.  I was really hoping graduation was a week later.  Not sure if we will be attending the ceremony which depresses me so.

We got our first letter home !  So glad to hear that all is well and has passed all test so far.

We are going to be able to attend the ceremonies after all.  I am so excited.  Hope that the parents of Div 13- 14 will be able to have a meet and greet on Tue prior to the ceremony.

I'm not fimiliar with the Chicago area, so if anyone can recommend a casual gathering place, lets go .

See you in a few weeks

Got a letter from my daughter today, She was able to write it on sunday. Sounds like division 13 & 14 are large divisions. Can't wait until graduation to see all of them marching by!

Got my letter today... So good to hear from him and know everything is ok!!! Cant wait for Nov 21st

Got 3 letters from my SR yesterday. Oh I was so relieved to hear that things are going well. He actually sounded as if he is having fun. His first letter sounded so grim so this is a big turnaround....I am happy about it though. I am still waiting to get a phone call from him. It will be so nice to hear his voice. Glad to hear others are getting letters and calls. Things are definitely looking up. He found out his Hospital Corpsman "A" school will be in San Antonio, TX....Great!!!! we live only 4 1/2 hours away near Beaumont, TX, that made me very happy.

Good afternoon ladies! Happy to say I just received a phone call from my son. He sounded really great and upbeat. Only was able to talk for about 10 minutes, but what a blessing. He mentioned that he has met so many great new friends. It was such a relief to hear his voice and know he is doing well. Sending wishes to you all for a phone call soon. Have a great day.

Hi Ladies!! So glad to come across this site, my daughter is in Div 013.  She will be going to A school in Pensacola, does anyone know how long that typically lasts?

Depends on her exact job, If you know what job she will have than you can look at in on the navy site. hope that is helpful, My husband is in IT so he will be in florida for 6-7 months.. All depends on the job!
