For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Ladys, I just got 4 free calling cards to send my son. 2 are for him and 2 are to share with other recruits. It's a nice gesture from this group. If you'd like you can go to callsforrecruits.org. I've sent out an email last week and got the cards today. They want to spread the word so all recruits get a chance to speak to a love one.
each card is 20 minutes free of charge to us

That was a problem with my older son and the Army. We got a doctors note-he was off for two years. We had to get the doctor to write a note saying that he had not been prescribed any since that year. Does he have a letter on file stating that he has been off since then?

He took ADD meds in 9th grade (2009). He hasn't taken them since. Hadn't needed them. Baby stuff you have to be off for 1 year, it's been 5 do I don't see the problem. I'm at a loss.

I know you must be worried! Was he able to tell you what was wrong? My friends daughter got pulled during air force boot camp for a week, but they allowed her to continue and finish. I think they had to create a special diet for her.
