peejinator- Ours sons are brother divisions, mine is Ship 12 Division 015.  Where will your son be going to A-School? Mine will be in Pensacola, which will make that Florida boy happy, I have a feeling he is freezing.  I'm sorry you didn't get a phone call either, but hopefully these brother divisions will be calling this week/weekend. Fingers crossed, we only have 46 days to go!

I received my form letter, but did not get a call.  Ship 12 Div 016 and graduating 11-21.  Now I have to find out if when my Sailor ships to where his school is...will school start the Monday following or since it is the week of Thanksgiving, I didn't know if they would just wait a week to start classes since they will be out of school for Thanksgiving anyway.

Yay Lisa!!! i'm so happy for you.  My son is from Florida too, I hope to get a call this week or next :)

That's so great, lisa!  I know you are one happy lady right now!

Good Morning!

I was able to talk to my son the other day. It was awesome and unexpected. He says he loves it. Mind you he's a Florida boy and that Chocago weather is cold. But he loves it. And I was worried. Silly me.

....also, Shelly, I was thinking when I read the post that you had started a separate division group on N4Moms, didn't realize until after I posted that it was a discussion on Bootcamp Moms.  Discussions within an established page are always better than starting actual groups separately on this site.

Comment by diannep on October 5, 2014 at 9:03pm

No problem, Shelly.  I totally understand and that was a good thing.  Its just once the PIR groups start, it is best to have all related to your division on that page.  Thank you for starting your discussion as a place for the ladies to join until the PIR group was started!

All do respect diannep and CryptoDad, ,

I started the thread MishaMom made reference to days before this page was in existence as a way to connect with other mothers from this group. No disrespect was intended. We are new to this entire process. We don't mean any disrespect but are simple looking for ways to stay connected with others close to our children

Feeling a bit down that I haven't heard from my SR or gotten the letter yet. It will all be ok though, no news is good news. And I've finally heard from two other moms that they have SR's in my son's division, so I'm not so worried anymore that the recruiter had it wrong.

Woot woot just got a call from my sr. So happy
