rebecca, I agree. I know that their lives depend on each other in times of trouble, and I want Craig to be able to respond immediately and help others, so even though this is hard for them, it may well save their lives some day. Craig is our "baby" but he has already been to college for a year and lived away all summer. He will do fine and I know that they all will be better young men and women for it. I thank them all for a commitment to keep us safe . carol

Barbie, I can't wait to see your idea. Sounds great. Paula, I hope Erica will stand firm and strong. She has made it this far. I bet she isn't the only one. carol

Thanks for the update, great information!

Helene,
Congratulations on getting your letters!

I did get a letter today, however it was so s-h-o-r-t. That was longer than the letter. He said they do not get alot of time to write. Have to do a lot of standing up and then something after. I couldn't make it out. He is fine, though, so it's ok. I gave blood today, usually I'm rejected because of low iron. I can't believe I made it. But now I am tired. Hope you all had pleasant surprises today.

Question: What happens to us as a group when PIR is over? Do we disperse, or what? carol

Helene, you are so fortunate to babysit your grandson. Mine lives a two day drive away and all I can get are phone calls and pics. I'll pray for Cherie's son.

No calls for me either. I thought that Thursday would be my letter day, but it's been almost 2 weeks. No news just has to be good news. carol
