So, Pine Farms, did you get to go to her wedding? I wrote on your page. Thinking of you.

I agree Irene. They may seem like they are there forever, but then they are gone and on their own. We can only give them the firm foundation and love. But it is wonderful to see them be the adults that we prayed they would become.

Good for Cody. Marie, Sorry, I didn't go on line last night. Kept falling asleep on the couch. Good thing today is Saturday. I woke up with a headache. Just being lazy today. Anyway, Craig is AA - Airman Apprentice. He will be on aircraft carriers someday, working with the ammunition on the fighter jets, or something like that. Right now he is bored. He called this morning.; The army guys come around and try to encourage them to go the blue to green route. I told him that I hope he will not do that. He says they arrange football or basketball games to play, and they have watched movies. He calls the sister, and brothers, and grandparents.

Craig found out last Sunday, that his A school is on hold and no one knows when it will start. All the teachers left? He was bummed, but I said at least he has a place to sleep and food to eat. Maybe he'll get some time off. I can pray.

Happy Birthday, Janet. I'm glad you enjoyed your day. I always feel that the day comes around regardless and I'm going to enjoy it with a gift and a dairy queen cake. (This year I got a Cold Stone Creamery cake. yum, yum)
We got back from San Antonio safely this morning at around 4:30 am. I'm still feeling the effects of a long 20 hours on the road. It sure was worth it though to see the grandbabies.
Hope you all had a good start to 2009. Love the song, CM.
And, Janet, don't you leave this site. We all want to know what Cody decides.
Good night to all.

Ladies, say a prayer for us. We want to travel to San Antonio to see the grandkids and the weather today in Iowa is awful. We want to leave in the morning. Hopefully it will be better. Any one along the I35 route that can tell me any weather reports from MN to TX? Thanks and have a great weekend.

Janet, I'm glad that all seems to be falling into place with Cody. Did he get it all in writing? BC should be better the next time around, because he will know what to expect. I hope the bunch of guys he gets will be a good one.
Lana, I'm saying a prayer for Devyn. I hope that with all the training he did go through, that it has made him stronger for whatever he will go into.
Both of you hug your boys tightly, then let them know that there are many prayers for both of them. Have a good rest of the week. Stay strong.
