Melissa,
Thanks! I just spoke to him, finally, and division 007 is doing battlestations starting Tuesday night. So that means divisions 006, 007 and 008 will all be going together. Then they should be calling home about 4:00pm on Thursday. I told him to call me on my cell phone because we will be in route to Great Lakes. His division also won the Captain's Cup!! They tied with another division and there was a tug of war to decide the winners.

Anyone hear when ship 11 DIV 012 do Battlestations?

I read somewhere here that 3-4 divisions do battle stations together! Seems like I am just about the only mom with a son in division 007 who is active on this site. If anyone hears anything about the date they will be going through, I would appreciate if you would let me know...Thanks, Nancy

Check out what I found on this site, it is a video clip from CNN of Battle Stations. It is just a small view of what our sailors are going to be doing. You might find a lump in your throat by the end, be prepared...

Thanks, Kristen. My mom has a handicapped sign. I'm still working on the wheelchair for her. Did they just have them there, or did you have to call ahead?

Thanks, ladies. I will try these ideas. Also am working on finding a way for the GF to see Craig also. She's very sweet. Sleety snow here in MN and only a high of 32 degrees today. Snow could be coming on Friday night and Saturday. I want it to get out of the way so that when we come to PIR it's a safe trip. Have a good night, and thanks again.
