Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Ok today is October 22, that means one more month till we see our sailors!!!
29 days and counting! Looks like is getting pretty cold there, we better take our gloves and mittens!! I can't wait to be cold!
It's getting cold here in Ohio, but I just got the mail and had a letter from my son and it gave me a warm feeling. He still has his sense of humor so things must not be going too bad.
Yes, it is very cold here 43 miles north of GL (which is where I live) Even predicting a dusting of snow this evening. By 11/22 it will most likely be pretty chilly !
We received three letters today at the house. !! Yes, three!!!! He sent one to his brother, Dad & me. All separately. He was upbeat but said he really missed the food. He feels he doesn't get enough to eat and is losing weight. I read somewhere that there is a weight requirement. I hope he passes it. He said their division is really coming together. That's good to hear. He didn't say whether he'd be able to call before BS so hopefully he will.
Hi Ladies! Hope all is well!
Hi Everyone!
There is a discussion started (where the link is for our Ship/Div) about bringing State Gift Baskets to Raffle off at Sarge's M&G and donate the proceeds back to Sarge and his wife!
I hope everyone is having a great day!
4 MORE WEEKS LADIES! Yeah!!! :)
Good Morning everyone!!! I haven't received any letter from my SR except the one he wrote the first Sunday he was there. I'm guessing he's waiting for our replies before writing back! lol Looks like I'll have to hold on to "no news is good news!" I'm glad he is busy though to make the time go faster for him.. perhaps I need to find more things to do myself lol! I can't wait to hear about all he is doing and more than that for PIR to see him!!
Stay strong ladies and keep smiling those proud smiles! :)
LOL! Thanks for the laugh Logaus! That's funny! :)
