OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

ok how do we find out two things..............

has any new sailors MOM, blistered his butt, after PIR, he is STILL my son, and I can spank him if I want..........

do we need to take EXTRA cash in order to bail Kris out of jail if they TRY to tell her she cant get in?

i have a feeling they would have to call in allllll the armed forces if they tried that!

ok now here is the rest of the news...........his stepmom just called and read me her letter, he tells her the stuff he doesnt want ME to worry about!!!!

He volunteered for swcc...military something, which I DID NOT want him to do, he was turned down due to eyesight......he plans on lasix when finishing A school so he can be accepted. he qualified as sharpshooter, one more ribbon for graduation....he wants to be deployed overseas......they are giving him a hard time for NOT going nuke, the recruiter even tried to presuade him to do this prior to leaving due to test scores, and said he would pass along to try and convince him. He said he is NOT motivated my the salary........everyone calls him robocop..loves it, doing great, navy is great............little s@*T!

Hellllllllllllloooooo everyone, just got in, and checked the box and there it was a DAY early! Have Never had a THURSDAY letter before..........

written on nov 9th.......says he wanted to write last Sunday but didnt get to, No setback in training. says he is getting mail from my mother, and knows that we are coming, reminds me that he can ONLY have four. Wants to make sure that if his DAD comes my parents know he can only have four. I HAVE NOT TOLD HIM HIS FATHER AND STEP MOM THINK IT WOULD BE A WASTED TRIP BECAUSE HE WILL BE HOME SOON!!!!!!!! wonder WHY that man is my EX????? Says everything is going GREAT and he LOVES it. says the last few weeks are going to be VERY busy. had fire fighting this week, and in 10 day he thinks they will have final PFA, and then battlestations. says to tell everyone thanks for all the letters. had pictures made in dress blues, doesnt know when they will come out. he loves us very much, be sure to let my dog out!

his dog is a two year old border collie, who the way has been sending his navy dad letters each week. keeping him posted on his uncle dogs, and what they are up to, getting a bath, getting to come in the house, learning that the house plants inside are not outside bushes to lift your leg on.......told his DAD he was in boot camp too! Seth loves the letters from his dog.
