OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I have a friend who has a boston terrier. Her son is in the air force. every night at 10pm sharp, she goes and turns down the bed, the dog not my friend. She did this to the sons bed for about a month after he left for air force because she had always slept with him! I love my dog, but I am not sleeping with him, he weighs 120 lbs and snores all nigth long! Boxers are bad for that!

No phone call, no letter, I think it is getting to Husband as much as me! Earlier he was out in the yard with sons dog.............and now he has brought him in and has him on his lap on the couch! I heard him telling the dog, that his dad is in Boot Camp for now, but soon he will be home for Christmas.....and there lays that dog, looking at him like he understand everything he is saying, and licking his face!
