OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

TLC ... I will do name tag for you... My pleasure.

I have a question, what are all the families doing for thanksgiving??
My son is in also Ship 4 Div 803. We got a call today, and he sounded great!! :D. Hope everyone gets a call this weekend.

I would suggest NO on the division numbers on your name tags. Just another way to identify SpecOps, the less info the better. :)

ellen0502 (and all 800 moms)...  Please know that I will only be doing N4M names (NO division #'s) for ALL the name tags... This will just be easier and "quieter" for us 800 moms.  So, no worries... Hopefully we will all know each other by name from this site at the meet and greet..

Winking Thumbs up

Hello all, I know it's late to post this, but I'm still so happy to have talked to him. We had about 15 mins. And then he was going to call the girlfriend. Golly I miss him. I burn my blue candle every night at bedtime. At this rate I'm going to need to buy several more, haha

Riverstone... NEVER to late to post.  I think I need to go buy a blue candle today (or look in my vast basement stuff :I)  Glad you got a call.  I'm surprised my son did not think to cut his call with us shorter and call his girlfriend.  I guess we won this round... yeah!

Silly question.... Meet and greet... is that a jeans kind of thing? or more dress casual? is there usually food? I'm bringing a crowd? I think I read family and friends can attend... is it an RSVP kind  of thing or just show up  ??

I wore jeans to the one we went to last year at Sarge's.  They would like you to RSVP so they can make sure there is enough food.

Where do you RSVP for the meet and greet?
I haven't seen a meet and greet for the 26th yet. I've looked on Sarges's Facebook and I've seen them listed here under events.
