Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Yay, another mall buddy!!

Gurnee mall is huge

Hey, does anyone know where I can find the list of things to bring for the SR to have at A school? I've looked everywhere and can't find it?

Tlcmom do you mean what the can have? I wouldnt get much more unless they ask.

Yes, I think it's the one you posted sjtina.

It can be found in the BUDs group. The things on the list have caused major confusion in the past because it has the things that will be purchased by them when they arrive at BUDs. There are a few things that could be purchases as gifts, like the Dremel, Superfeet, etc. They will not need anything at PreBuds unless they ask.

Just to add to what sjtina said about what they need. In prebuds, just their personal stuff like phone, computer, underwear, etc. Prebuds is mostly just physical fitness getting them ready for BUDS.  When they get to Coronado, the hardware stores there have BUDS kits they can buy that have the things they need. If I remember correctly, J paid about $130 for a kit. If you want to help them, probably just giving them money to buy what they need once they get there is best.  I know I probably wasted a lot of money sending things that he didn't need.

Has anyone heard how division 804 is doing so far???

My boyfriend is also in 804! I got six letters on Thursday and he sounded so much better. The last few letters said the division was somewhat struggling to work as a team and some of the guys were "giving up" and causing some trouble. These letters were nothing like that, he wrote that everyday the division is getting better and doing better as a team.

That's great!!! Maybe we'll get a call soon! Fingers crossed...

I hope so! Looks like my boyfriend and your fiance will be staying in GL and going to Dive Prep together! Add me on here and we can message more about it. So glad I found someone else who's SR will be going to dive prep!

Do you know if they'll get some time off for Christmas even if they're in dive prep???
