OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 025 and 026

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

One week till we leave!
Thankful it's a week as the smallest mini me has the stomach flu. Hopefully it's stay with just her and passes fast!
Aww. I hope she feels better soon! (And no one else gets it!) 1week to go!!!

Look up :)  That counter says 8 1/2 days :)  I started reading this thread from the beginning - we've come a LONG way Baby !!

Single digits now, woohoo!
I happen to sneak over to a new page where all the moms/gf's are waiting for the 1st call and or the "kid in a box". My heart went out to them as I was also so grateful for how close we are to the end!! Can't wait to see our new sailors!!

We live only 1/2 away from GL so got a letter today (Div 25). Son said that the RDCs are starting to be a little more human lately and they are getting a bit more independence.  He confirmed that they get liberty from 7 am to 10 pm through the weekend! YEA!!!  Cannot wait to see him.

That's nice to hear that they're easing up on them.

Where is your son going to A school at?

GL unless something changed. Yours?

Our son is staying at GL also! So glad to hear about liberty. I can't wait to spend the weekend with him!

The whole weekend??? That is awesome!

Yes!! I'm so excited. Since he is staying at GL, he gets liberty for the weekend. Has to be back at base for the night, and maybe watches, but that's ok!

Pensacola. Last I heard he flys out Saturday. Was just wondering about yours with the long liberty. Was thinking I might have to change my return flight if my son was getting it too :)
