YAY! Where are you from? We live about 2.5 hours from GL in a small rural community in North Central IN. I have been a member of N4M since about March and when my son finally went in on Nov 10, I have been anxiously awaiting to hear from other parents whose kids are in the same Ship and Div. Where are you from? What is your child going into after BC?
Are you able to come to the PIR in January? How is your house this holiday. My son had been gone for 3 years, home for the 9 months before he left, so his younger brother ( hs senior) said that the house is finally back to a normal order now that big brother has left! Holiday was quiet without the dramaking!
My son is also on Ship 7 Div 46.
it's nice to se someone else in the same division.
my son is also in ship 07 div 046 were from california.has anybody gotten a letter?
It's 11-29 and I have only gotten the form letter with his rapier wit attached to all the writing. Was hoping for something today. He made darn sure he said ( in bold print) NO PACKAGES> his aunt is telling him the package will come by christmas if his mom doesn't get a letter soon.
My sons in this division also. Its been a long three weeks!
Well kids, another day has passed and although we all survived without a letter, we have each other. How many of you are planning on going to PIR?
We are going and his grandparents but I was very disappointed that my sisters can not attend graduation.....it is a huge event and didn't realize there would be so many other div and ships that would grad on the same day...silly me!
My son is on the same ship and div. I am glad to see his div. and ship! We have not received a letter from him and I was expecting one on Wednesday. I hope to hear from him soon. We are from Pennsylvania and we will be flying to graduation and I hope the weather cooperates! I am going to make hotel reservation tomorrow. Christopher is my baby and I miss him terribly but always knew he was going to enlist in the Navy. This has been a goal of his since he was in the 8th grade. I am so proud of him.
GOT TWO LETTERS TODAY!!!!!!!He's seems to be O.K. , doesn't sound too down at all. " I seem to be doing a good job of keeping under the radar" I made my reservations for PIR yesterday, very excited to see my boy. This is much harder then when he went away to college.
SHIP 07 DIV 046
