Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you can support each other in those issues here.

I thought it was just my son - he's not much of a "writer" so I didnt expect too many letters, but maybe it is their RDC! Are you and your family flying in for PIR? Luckily I only live 3 hrs away so we are able to drive there. I am staying at the Residence Inn - how about you?
My husband, our other three sons, and I are flying in on the 3rd. We are not sure where we are staying yet...but, we will look into the Residence Inn. I did not let my phone out of my sight today, and every time it rang, I jumped with anticipation! No letters today either:( It's OK though because I know this is about him and not me. I guess I just feel bad about missing his call and I need to hear that he is ok! I am so excited about PIR. Have you received any letters? We got a few all in one day.
I did receive a letter yesterday and my daughter did also - I hope we get another phone call but I dont know if we will or not. Where is your son going to A School?
Yay! I got three letters today and my second son received one. I guess the mail coming to my small town is slower than the rest of the country. My boy is doing great but not enjoying all the yelling! The letters really made me feel better. He will be attending A school in Great Lakes training to become a Corpsman. He is so excited, but I am nervous about all the work and studying. Where is your boy going?
He is going to San Antonio for MA. It was a definate relief to get the letters and to know he is doing ok.
my hubby is in this division!:] he's goign to a-school in gulfport anyone else?
Welcome to our group! My son is going to A School in San Antonio.
Still haven't received a second phone call. I panic when I let my phone out of my sight for a minute! After missing his first call home, I am determined to get the next one. It's kind of exciting grabbing my phone every time it rings hoping for an 847 area code. Any minute now.......
Hi everyone!
Received a 5 page letter today from my SRB (Spoiled Rotten Brat)! Doing so much better this week then last weeks letter! Can you believe it--just 3 more weeks! If all goes well that is! She has yet to pass the PFA--those dang sit-ups! That's all that's holding her back! She has doubts now of making this a career! LOL--BC will do that! Everyone's telling her it's different after BC--but until she can see that for herself--she's not believing it!

Don't know when the next call will be! But it should be soon! She said her first phone card--took away 37 minutes each time she dialed out to connect! So I have to send her another one!

Lynne: She said to send her stationary? Can I send her stationary/envelopes? I know I can send her stamps!

Hope everyone has a great afternoon! It's cold & damp in W. PA!
If she asked, I am sure you can...she wouldn't want to get in trouble...lol!! I;ll be praying for her and her sit-ups!!
That's the truth! LOL
My daughter & I received letters today also. My son said that everything is going well except for making his bunk! But I think alot of recruits are too by what he said. He said that BC is beginning to pick up the pace and he actually filled out one of the questionnaire's I sent. Hopefully we will get the next phone call soon!
