OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope this discussion is both helpful and fun!!

so if the mail was sent out Monday, it should get to some places by tomorrow or Friday?
Jose...Yeah, I bet you are going to get a letter tomorrow or Friday. I wouldn't give up hope. Hannah said they had from 7 til 1 on Sunday for themselves, she called it Holiday routine (AKA Sunday!). It probably just takes longer to get to NJ. I'm in Wisconsin... closer. Keep the faith!
I hope i get something tomorrow or Friday. I've been having crappy days lately. Do you go on the chat? I'd like to catch up with you. positive vibes and God Bless
Did anyone receive a phone call on Sunday from your recruit? Just curious... I was waiting. No such luck though.
nope! no luck over here! Hopefully waiting for this week
I received a letter from Hannah today! All is good! She is doing quite well. She said she will be calling on Friday between 5 & 6 PM. How cooll is that?!!!!
that's so amazing, Heidi! I'm really happy for you. She if she knows my wife, Alicia. i would be pretty funny if they were good friends
Jose... I will ask Hannah if she knows Alicia in my next letter. That would be nice. She did say that the girls she's meeting are are very nice.
And Lauren is my daughter.... I know sometimes the girls stick together and my daughter is very sociable! Loves to make friends!!!!
I won't be surprised if my wife is friends with Lauren? hope all is well with you.
I appreciate all the info on calls and letters, etc. I would never dare to call anyone to see what's up!!!!! I am absolutely sure she would be given a really hard time about " your mommy is looking for you".
I was a single mom for 17 years...I have raised all of my kids to be strong and independent. I know she is fine and I will see her again (hopefully....). I would just love some feedback about how it is for her.
I am just very grateful to have this group and by reading what is going on with others in her Div. By reading what others have written I have some idea about everything....so keep me posted until I get a post!
Thanks all and looking forward to the meet n greet...I am in on 11.4 in the early afternoon.
