Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 031 and 032

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Just wondering if you have gotten any recent news from your son and how your hanging in there? Some days seem to go fast as I do the countdown, and other days it feels like its still so long before we can see our children.

So happy to have received a letter from my son yesterday. He was telling me how he went to church and the message realy hit home. I was filled with joy to read that. As he wss ending his letter he tells me his division has gotten smaller and he is trying really hard not to be still be there. I could sence some worriness. I didnt realize that he was ynder so muc pressure. I am praying for all our recruits. I hope everyone has a grest day.

So happy for you. We got letters on Thursday, so happy to hear from our son also. I am so glad he is getting to hear the word. I hope my son is doing the same. There is nothing that can give you more peace than God's love. So sorry to hear his is stressing about the group getting smaller but sounds like he is doing really good on all his tests and drills. My son doesn't say much about what is going on there, only ask about what is going on back home. I will be praying for your son as well as my own, they will be ok. Sure do miss him though. I was really looking forward to a call this week but haven't gotten one. I guess no news is good news.

My son also attends church and when I received his letter on Thursday he also said that "it took a load off his shoulders". I find great comfort in hearing that he has an outlet. I also did not receive a call and it is hard not knowing how he is or what is going on.  I now find myself looking forward to Thursdays in hope of a letter. Prayers for all our recruits and also for us Mom's missing our son's (and daughter's).

Looking for others who have recruits directly following 12/4 PIR coming to Groton CT sub Base?

Are there any special events the evening before graduation? We arrive to our hotel around 5?

I also received a call from my son today around noon. He is in the same ship and division. It was great to hear his voice. I cannot wait to see him...the countdown is on!

Does anyone know what our SR's are doing this week? Also, I am looking for information on making a ribbon for PIR...please! Thank you....I'm so excited that we are getting close to seeing our SR's : )
