Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I have not heard from my bf and neither has his mom...I have seen some people on here getting calls though so my hopes are up...I don't really care if i personally get a call, just to know he is doing well. A letter would be great but have seen that probably won't happen until next week sometime. I can't wait for graduation either!

That's exciting about the letter! Mail comes here late in the day so by the time the mailman comes I'm waiting at my mailbox to see! I think I possibly am starting to scare him because he always looks at me funny! I don't care though, I hope he got to write too!

My daughter sounded OK, she also mentioned getting up early and studying hard doing her best to graduate 12/17 PIR. Finally understanding the meaning of (Sailor’s Mouth) $$##@@# hearing it all day. It felt like JAIL, but with better food.
I didn’t think it was going to be this hard, I do miss her a lot. -
