Hello everyone!
My boyfriend Luke and I went online on Thanksgiving and he was able to purchase us two plane tickets from Chicago to home (Minneapolis, MN) :) he mentioned a website I'm supposed to check called schedulingoffice@navy.mil to make sure everything went through once he gave them the print out of our tickets. He also had to get one printed off for his flight from home to Pensicola for ATT. Does anyone know about this site he told me to find..I'm kind of struggling to find answers. :(

Also, are we supposed to be getting a paper in the mail for graduation, so we can get into base? We had a blue one for Thanksgiving, and we had to show it in order to get through the gates.

Thanks!

lukesgirl,

Welcome to our group,. If you need any help with anything else, please ask away.

Did your boyfriend send a copy of his itinerary to the scheduling office email? If not, maybe you should do that now.

Your boyfriend should have sent someone a form letter, when he first arrived at boot camp, with a password on it. That password is for the Recruit Training Command website to obtain the parking pass. You cannot get that pass until 11 days before PIR, so it won't be available to print until then. If he has included you as one of his guests for graduation, your name would also be on the initial form letter and they will have it there.

Hope this helps, .

Betsy
He emailed it to that site on Thanskgiving, and then he put my email on it too, and told me to print off our tickets when they were in my email.
He also printed off copies of all the itineraries and took them back to base when we dropped him off at curfew.

I haven't gotten a phone call yet this week, he got promoted so he said he's super swamped. I'm just stressed out because I'm going to graduation, but I don't think his mom is anymore because they paid for everything when we went to see him on Thanksgiving. I want to make sure I'm getting things done that I'm supposed to before I leave home. :)

So, should his mom be keeping an eye out for a form in the mail so I can get into the graduation, or can I just show my id at the gate?

Sorry, I'm confused and stressed out..lol.
Thanks for the help!!

Kila
Sounds like you've done everything correctly Kila!

If you don't received an email back from the scheduling office, you could take your SR's email to them and reforward with a request for confirmation of receipt. Mention your SR's last name and Ship / Div. Since he took a copy of everything to base with him, I expect he's in good shape. Patti gave you some good ideas of things to dbl. check.

The form for admission to graduation was the 1st form letter your SR sent home so check with his mom. The form lists the SR's guests. On that form is a password. As Betsy said, parking passes will be printable from a website prior to your leaving for PIR - 11 days prior. Here is the address: http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp. Copy to your browser. If you look at it today, you can see a blue hyperlink for PIR 12/3/10's group. This is where the password is needed - you will be asked for it once you select the link. Notice our parking passes aren't yet available for pickup (no hyperlink yet).

Bring your driver's license for ID at the gate. Jessica B just posted a list of what to bring to PIR - print it off to use as a checklist - that should help. Its a Discussion Group and on the main pages posts too. You'll be o.k.!
Hi Lukesgirl....
scheduling.office@navy.mil this is the correct email address - check to see it you have the " . " in between scheduling and office.
I did received a response back from them stating that it has been received and approved. Check the email account it was sent from and Also dont forget to check your spam

Good luck - hope this helps
I emailed my SR's information on Sunday, the 28th, and has still not received back a confirmation.
For some reason I can't get on scheduling.office@navy.mil website. Did you have any problems. I've been trying for days. I did send the itinerary to my son because I read that he could take it to the Scheduling office himself. Is this true.
April,

That is their e-mail address, but not an actual website.

Betsy
I emailed the info on Monday, but haven't heard anything back yet.
Luke emailed it on Thanksgiving right after ordering his tickets, so I guess I'm just going to cross my fingers he calls soon so I can ask him about it...I still haven't gotten a letter :( I get random phone calls lol, but its not the same..
Hi. I emailed my SR's flight information but haven't received confirmation on the receipt of that either. I emailed it to a specific person.
There is a parking pass that we are suppose to go online and print off days prior to the graduation. That link is http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

Sorry I can't be of more help.
